Atlas - Safety & Facility Platform

The Challenge

In a multi-site laboratory organisation, facility requests, equipment information and safety reports are spread across email, phone calls, spreadsheets, paper forms and a separate ticketing tool. When a device breaks down, its manuals, CE certificates and maintenance history are hard to find, and preventive maintenance and contract renewals are tracked by hand. Workplace accidents are reported on paper, which makes follow-up actions along the chain of command difficult to assign and monitor. Injury data is also sensitive health information, and only the prevention service may see it.

The Solution

Atlas combines a facility module and a safety module on one platform, and each role sees only the parts it needs. Facility managers get an asset register with documents, locations and printable QR codes, a kanban ticket board with cost registration, preventive maintenance schedules with a calendar view, and contract tracking with expiry warnings. Prevention advisors review incoming reports, set a severity and let Atlas route follow-up actions along the hierarchical line; line managers see only the actions assigned to them. Staff report facility problems or accidents from their phone in a separate web app, either by scanning the QR code on the equipment or by completing a guided accident questionnaire with an injury body map. Technicians will get a view limited to their own assigned tickets, and management a view with aggregated figures and cost reporting (planned). Access rights are enforced per role, every change is recorded in an audit trail, and only prevention advisors can see injury data.
